What This Means for API Users

We are implementing "Active Charge Points" filtering to ensure API responses reflect real-world charging availability. This enhancement ensures you only receive data for charge points that were operational within the timeframe of your requested data.

Active Charge Point Definition

A charge point is considered "Active" if:

• No deletion message has been received, AND
• Has received availability updates within the past 90 days

Charge points that don't meet these criteria are excluded from analytical reporting.

Key Impact

Data reflects real-world charging availability: API responses will only include charge points that were active within the time frame of the response data, giving you more accurate operational insights.

Implementation Details

• Active status calculated on daily basis
• Charge points can return to active status if they resume sending availability updates
• No changes required to your API requests - filtering happens automatically
• Specific response changes will be communicated when deployed
